Quality Policy

Our mission is to produce drugs for veterinary medicine, animal food, disinfectants, disinsectants and rodent control agents  by  the continuous  improvement of  the organization’s overall abilities and performances, set in the Quality Policy and thus to ensure satisfying  the expectations and demands of  our customers and all other stakeholders.     

Food Safety Policy
By introducing ISO 22000:2005 food safety management system, which also includes HACCP principles, and by respecting international codes based on Good Manufacturing Practice principles and Basic Food Hygiene Principles, as  participants in the food chain, our aim is to raise the quality level and to ensure product safety throughout the whole animal food production process .     

Safe Pet Food Production Policy
Safe Pet Food Production Policy expresses the desire of Veterinary Institute JSC Subotica employees to manufacture healthy and safe, nutritionally adapted food which will ensure long and quality life of pets.
      

Veterinary Institute JSC Subotica carried out the certification of the quality management system in line with the ISO 9001:2008 requirements, and it is the first veterinary institution in our country which introduced HACCP standard already in 2006, integrating it with the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system. In October 2009, the Veterinary Institute   introduced ISO2200:2005 quality management system, which contains HACCP. This system certifies the highest possible organizational level and it combines the highest standards in all operational segments. This enables Veterinary Institute JSC Subotica to be present on all markets worldwide, since HACCP is one of the food safety standards , which is binding on the EU and World Trade Organization markets since 1st January  2006. Similarly, the Serbian Law on Veterinary presented the HACCP system as mandatory  for all business entities dealing with food of animal origin.
Veterinary Institute JSC Subotica is also finalizing the general reconstruction of the pharmacy plant, thereby enabling both the extension of the production programme and acquiring the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certificate.
The GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) is a quality assurance segment, which guarantees that the drug was manufactured and controlled in line with the quality standard requirements and according to the product specification from the documentation for acquiring sale permit.
