HORSE NUTRITION
Horse nutrition presents an important factor in holding horses and makes up more than 60% of the overall expenses. Therefore horse nutrition must provide the adequate amount of all nutrients in relation to the category, age and life cycle phase of the animal, necessary for breeding, growth, fattening, reproduction and production.
Horses must be given hygienically clean and fresh food and every change in their feeding should be introduced gradually, since they are more sensitive to rotten food and change in feeding than any other domestic animal.
