DISINFECTANTS

DISINFECTION is a series of various procedures aimed at destroying, inhibiting or eliminating most or all microorganisms on the surface of the body, on objects, or in the air. By means of disinfection microorganisms are REMOVED (mechanically, by cleaning, washing etc.) or TERMINATED (physically, using heat, radiation; chemically, using acids, bases, chlorine etc.)

WHY is it necessary?
Disinfection reduces the risks of being infected by and spreading infectious diseases. The selection of disinfectants or disinfection procedure depends on the type and grade of impurities, on the amount of the microbiological contamination, presence of specifically important microorganisms and type of object or place which is to be disinfected, in order to avoid negative impacts.
